Major Life Change

This'll be my new office view.

It's official.

Martin and I are now in the midst of a major life change.

Today, I accepted a full-time federal public affairs social media position at the Department of Health and Human Services in downtown Washington D.C., right across from the Capitol Building.

This comes just a few days after I got my new Air Force Reserve orders: I will no longer have to travel out to Ohio every month to fulfill my military obligations.

Instead, I will be doing that back at the Pentagon as part of the Air Force press desk again.

But that's not all.

Today, Martin submitted his resignation letter from his bank. He's accepting another job, but at least this one is familiar and no doubt, more amazing.

He's going to be a full-time stay-at-home dad to our three children.

I think we're going to go out and celebrate tonight. We'll let the kids pick.

Probably Chuck-E-Cheese.

I will write more later.
